Main scientific achievements:

Laid the basis of mathematical modelling and optimal control of continuous technological processes and productions.  For the practical solving of the considered problems of optimization of oil refining productions, the effective calculating procedures have been built, taking into account structural and functional peculiarities of the models. Under the guidance of I.A. Ibrahimov the investigations connected with the design of mathematical models, method of optimal and operative control of large tonnage ethylene production in condition of lack of information have been done. The complex of mathematical models of operativ planning and optimal control of  non-stationary reactor complex, describing system functions in deterministic and fuzzy condition; a fuzzy model of optimization of non-stationary reactor complex considering the necessity of regeneration of separate reactor has been worker out as well as methods and models of optimal control of dynamic modes  non-stationary reactor with fuzzy input information.  The width of investigations of  I. A. Ibrahimov in the field of automatic control, their systematic characters and depth of study have created the necessary prerequisites for solving the problems of control of processes, ptoductions, enterprises and the whole branch.
