	Main area of activity of the structural unit:	The determination of Azerbaijan main nutritious matters supplies and regional-zone soils mineralogical structure, studying the influence of untraditional minerals on the soils physical-chemical structure.
	Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:	Zonal soils map reflected silt fraction mineralogical composition for the first time was composed. Mineral supplies application methods to agriculture were offered and regulations of changes in the mineralogical composition of tilled soils were determined.
