A. I. Novruzlu had studied all the periods of Azerbaijan history /beginning frome stone period till late middle age/ found more than 400 archaeological monuments. He investigated some problems of Azerbaijan history, at the same time primary unity camps, ancient cemetry monuments, morldscope of the people, burial customs, defend systems, city life, its economy and production sources, social economic processes and other problems. Late middle ages /XIV-XVII weren't considered to be archaeological period until  A. I. Novruzlu's investigations. At the result of his investigations 500 ages period was brought to the archaeology science. A. I. Novruzlu found the theoretical archaeology science in Azerbaijan. He compiled the charts of archaeological monuments on Baki-Supsa oil-pipeline, Shahdaniz gaz pipeline and printed the results of initial field explorations. A. I. Novruzlu studies the archaeology of oil and gaz pipelines. He is a chief of archaeological Investigations in New Construction sites of National Academy of Sciences.
