Main area of activity of the structural unit:

  1. Collection, registration, storage, processing, scientific investigation of numismaticand epigraphic materials found in Azerbaijan.

  2. Certification, publication and demonstration of collections of medallist, sphragistics, faleristics, bonistics, philately stored in numismatic fund.
Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:

  1. About 200000 units stored in numismatic fund.

  2. Scientific card index of fund's materials is put together (about 100000).

  3. Albums-booklets (2), monographs (2), scientific articles (more than 70) are published and Ph.D. and doctoral theses are written based on materials of numismatic fund.

  4. Fund's materials are exhibited in Museum and other expositions.
