Main scientific achievements of the structural unit: |
1. For study of mechanisms of salt tolerance in Dunaliella salina cells of halophyl green algae was elucidated impact of high concentration of NaCl salt to change of protein composition (salt inducing proteins, upregulated expression, downregulated expression and inhibition proteins) 2. It turns out salt-tolerant genotypes of wheat as a result of molecular genetic studies with various NTDs markers associated with salt tolerance in different genotypes of soft and durum wheat species, which stored in GenBank. 3. The selected salt-tolerant genotypes of wheat suitable for the creation of new salt-tolerant varieties as parental forms. 4. For the first time in Azerbaijan was defined type phytoplasma 'Candidatus Phytoplazma brasiliense' patient peach trees (Prunus persica) by nested PCR using universal primers for amplification of 16S rDNT and before that the distribution of phytoplasma in the basin of the Euro-Mediterranean was not any information
