Development of the new efficient catalysts for the processes of environment, vapour and liquid phase oxidative conversion of hydrocarbons, reductive aminating of oxygen containing compounds. 

The bifunctional catalysts referred to the class of reduced metals of variable valency on the supports of acidic nature, the usage of which allowed to increase essentially an efficiency of existing ways of obtaining a whole series of nitrogen containing organic compounds with the properties of biocides, have been developed. The new catalytic technologies of synthesis of aminobenzonitrles, terephtalonitrile, cyan pyridine, C₄-C₉  alkannit-riles, N-acyl substituted aromatic amides, C₄-C₂₀ aliphatic oiled and naphthene amines as monomers for processes of obtaining biocides important in industry, repellents against harmful insects and heat proof polymers have been worked out. The scientific foundations of obtaining the new highly efficient aluminum frame catalysts of liquid phase oxidation of xylols and deep joint oxidation of hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide have been established.
On the basis of natural, synthetic zeolites and metal silicates highly efficient catalyst of conversion of oil hydrocarbons in valuable products of petrochemistry have been created. Application of heat effect of a series of exothermal inorganic reactions as environmental energy has been proposed.
