Electron and phase effects in structure and transformations of polymethyl cyclopentadienyl complexes of transitional metals. |
|
| Main scientific achievements of the structural unit: | For the first time by modern physicochemical methods there were synthesized and studied dicyclopentadienyl, as well mono- and binuclear cyclopentadienylcarbonyl complexes of transitional metals with cyclopentadienyl and polymethylcyclopentadienyl ligands. The pecularities of the influence of alkyl groups and metals with different electron configuration on stability, molecular, crystalline and electron structure of complexes have been established. In particular, it is shown that in alkylcyclopentadienylcarbonyl complexes of the metals of the first transitional row the influence of alkyl groups on CO-groups transfers through, mainly, π-components of M-CO-bond, and in the complexes of the metals of the second and third transitional rows it does through σ-components. Existence of phase interreaction between methyl groups in cyclopenthadienyl rings and dipolymethylcyclopenthadienyl complexes of iron, cobalt and rodium was confirmed by X-ray structure and nuclear magnetic methods. |
