Main scientific achievements of the structural unit: |
The scientific foundations of complex reprocessing the mineral resources of Azerbaijan republic (sulfide polymetallic ore, alunite ore, clays of the various composition and oth.) and improvement of the existing technological processes have been developed. On the basis of improvement of the existing reprocessing technology of alunite ore the rational technological process, which permits to obtain a series of the valuable products, (aluminum oxide, potassium sulfate, vanadium, gallium and oth.) has been worked out and tested. On principle new technological scheme by complex reprocessing Filizchay polymetallic ore in several versions (autoclave lixiviation, chloride sublimation and oth.) has been developed. The theoretical and practical aspects of the process of obtaining elementary sulfur by thermal and catalytic reduction with gaseuos reducers of sulfur containing waste gases of the different branches of the industry have been worked out; the obtained results are introduced on the copper plant of Norilck metallurgical mining enterprise of Russian Federation. |
