Different type and practically important zeolites have been synthesized and researched. With the aim of practical realization of hypothetic structures, a series of different type zeolites have been synthesized. The new type clathrate compounds have been synthesized on the basis of complexes of transition metals with aromatic carboxylic acids and the clathrate formation process is used for analytical purposes and for selective sorption. It was established that the structure of clathrate compounds on the basis of initial complexes is dictated by “guest” molecules. The clathrates can be obtained only on the basis of complexes with dimer and polymer structures.
