The transition metals particularly sandwich cyclopentadienyl, semi sandwich cyclopentadienylcarbonil complexes of Co, Mn, Re, Rh and Fe as well as s- alkyl-, s-cyclopentadienyl- and s-arylpolymethylcyclopentadienylcabonyl have been obtained and in cyclopentadienyl ring the role of electron and phase influence of methyl groups on reaction process, structure, thermal and oxidative resistance of end products has been researched. It was shown that in the reaction of obtaining s- alkyl-, s-cyclopentadienyl- and s-arylpolymethylcyclopentadienylcabonyl complexes of iron the steric factor of methyl groups in cyclopentadienyl ring of initial substance is of more importance than electron factor of these groups. In the reaction of obtaining sandwich type arene-cyclopentadienyl complexes of iron electron factor of methyl groups in cyclopentadienyl ring are of great importance. This factor has also shown its advantages in metallization reaction of polymethyl-ferrocene with lithium. At present structure, catalytic activity and antidetonation properties of synthesized new compounds are studied.
