The new class of coordination and metal organic compounds of some transition and rare earth elements with organic and metal carbonyl ligands has been synthesized and investigated. By study of the correlation between structure and properties of these compounds there has been determined the influence of metal atoms and the nature of ligands found with it, first on reactivity and second on their catalytic and antidetonation properties, thus developed the new scientific direction. Some of these compounds were used as octane increasing composition additives for motor and diesel fuels substituting tetraethyl lead (TEL).   The documents of the project for introducing one of them – ferrocene containing composition “Cryscat”, made on the base of chemical and oil chemical raw of the republic have been prepared. Some of newly obtained ferrocenyl carbonyl metalcomplexes at 20-60⁰C have been used for demercaptanization of sulfurated oil products and on polymer bearers there have been obtained high effective photosensitive elements. For Z-forming process and for obtaining high boiling oxygen containing organic compounds from synthesis gas (CO+2H₂), the active and selective catalytic systems were made on the base of Zn-Mo.
