Main scientific achievements:

Main scientific achievements:   Several selective oxidative transformations of low paraffins, olefins and alkylaromatics have been studied systematically, and new highly efficient oxide catalysts (mainly, V-containing ones) have been designed. Recently, the substantial improvement of catalytic performance of V-Sb-O/alumina system in the ethylbenzene dehydrogenation was found to be caused by the usage of non-traditional mild oxidant – carbon dioxide. The nature of the catalysts active sites as well as the interesting relationships between catalytic and redox properties together with some other structural features have been revealed by means of detailed physicochemical characterizations.
