On the basis of results of investigates İ.V.Azizov revealed that the important attributes of wheat selection as efficiency, stability, and also the intensivity of photosynthetic reactions can be directed to the desirable party of the selector by correcting of selection parents forms on the basis of a choice and their further crossing. In the further works, conducted together with employees of department of molecular – genetic basis of production processes the new data on finding- out of mechanisms of stability to drought, salinity and high temperature were obtained. In this investigations were used the modern physiological, biochemical and biotechnological methods of researches. There was created the cell model systems for study mechanisms of adaptation and conditions for normal work of these models were optimized. In these models features of adaptation of plants to sudden and gradual salinity were studied. There was revealed a new stress proteins, by means of these the higher plants and unicellular algae adapted to adverse factors on environment. In cells of unicellular algae Dunaliyella salina was found nine new proteins, providing adaptation of cells to conditions of salinity. The optimum content of the nutrient medium and concentration of Na CI allowing a normal duplication and photosynthetic activity of unicellular algae has been established. In investigates leading together with employees of the Institute of radiation problems the physiologically active substances were received and their radioprotective properties were studied. Among the tested substances a routine from the flowers of Sophora and an extract green fruits of a walnut showed stronger radioprotective properties. These substances have been offered for application at medical practices.Results of researches of I.V. Azizov are published in 135 works and in one monography. |
