The aim of present investigation was to study a taxonomic composition of geophytes, their life forms and a spreading on the Caucasus, to developed the agrotechnics of their growing under Absheron conditions. On the basis of conducted investigations the review of the Caucasus geophytes was made up, the taxonomic composition of 28 families, 92 geniuses involved the 526 species are classificated by following life forms: tuberiferous (88 species), bulbotuberife rous(40),rhi-some(163),bulbiferous(235). It was shown that 150 species from 323 species tested in culture very well adapted to Absheron conditions. The natural renewal was marked only in 80 species from 150 species that were introduced in Absheron and reached the reproductive state. The semen bank of 60 species was created and the 30 species were restored by reintroduction in different regions of the Caucasus. To develop an assortment of various types of floral designing and provide their prolonged decorative effect it is recommended to use the phonological spectrum of flowering and three-mark scull of the estimate of Caucasus geophytes by their economic-biological characters.
