Main scientific achievements:

Studies for the first time on possible formation of the food and defensive reactions in fishes with formation of these behavioral tasks in early ontogenesis; identification of optimal conditions of early stages of development for four fish species of  the Kur river fish population,  sturgeon, white sturgeon, stellate sturgeon and barbel in relation to temperature and salinity of water; study of impact of drilling during oil and gas offshore fields exploration on most important parameters of fish functioning and development of recommendations for fishes detoxication; studies on developing of fish hybrids by cross-breeding  white sturgeons and barbels and carps and sazans fishes populating Kur river; studies on ecological and physiological specifics of hybrids obtained and development of recommendations on their cultivation in pond farms.
