Main scientific achievements: Crystalline, complex compounds of metals with ligands containing stable radical groups have been synthesized and their crystalline and molecular structure have been studied, the distance between paramagnetic centers has been determined. For the first time the energy of exchange interactions among spin centers in such systems has been calculated and estimated. It was shown, that in most metal chelate complexes the distance metal-radical is no more than 0.5 nm. It was established that the entry of radical center (nitroxyl) into coordination sphere of metal ion (copper) leads to its activation in oxidation-reduction reactions. The research works on the study of redox reactions in ligands coordinated with metal ion are carried out. The reaction of oxidative C-C coupling in ligands coordinated with metal ion has been found. Coordination compounds of transition metals have been synthesized with different organic ligands and their structure and properties have been studied. Reduction of azometin bond and kinetics and mechanism of oxidation-dehydrogenation reactions of reduction-hydroxibenzeneamines of coordinated ligands have been researched. Recent years the researches on obtaining of ultra thin metal films and nano disperse metal powders and oxides have been carried out. In the systems Ga-Bi, Ga-Pb and Ga-Tl two-dimensional phase transition has been found on the melt-vapor boundary. It was established that this transition occurs near the line of liquidus between eutectic and monotectic points. In ionic liquids on the basis of imidazole ferroelectric transition has been found on the ion liquid-vapor boundary, as a result of which the electric zone with potential 1 B is formed. On the basis of redox reaction of nitrates of metals with diols and polyols hydrothermal method has been developed for obtaining of metal and oxide powders with sizes from 10 nm to 150 nm.
