	Main area of activity of the structural unit:	Adaptive stability evaluation of the basic quantitative and qualitative attributes of the genetic resources against the controllable and non-controllable factors' influence of the environment.
	Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:	Studying of chromosomal aberrations in germinal sprouts of plants and research of intensity free radical oxidizing processes allow to evaluate stability of the vegetative genetic resources to the environmental factors. Comparative studying of response genome to stresses and to number of photosynthetic pigments on the various plants has revealed: they have got a unidirectional character.
