Development of theoretical principles, methodology and engineering principles of knowledge processing in intellectual systems of fuzzy relational structure for poorly structured or heavily formalized subject areas have been carried out. This included: development of model of representation of knowledge of fuzzy relational structure and methods of such knowledge, design of distributed knowledge base for knowlege of fuzzy relational structure on the basis of which the system for decision making support has been created, development of methods and algorithms for decision making on one or several decision making networks based on centralized or distributed knowledge  bases of fuzzy relational structure, development of principles of application of fuzzy knowledge bases to solution of patterns recognition and control problems, models and methods for synthesis of various purpose applied problem orientated systems on the basis of knowledge of fuzzy relational structure.
