The scientists of ANAS Institute of Geology had been at the Austrian Research and Engineering Company (The HOT) and had been discussed cooperation relations in the direction of oil-gas, geophysics and boring areas with the purpose of extension of professionalism.

In recent years the importance of is widening cooperation science and education in our country. The Institute of Botany of ANAS makes some steps in this direction.

Meeting with the participation of representative of Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Northern Forest Liebhold, Andrew and scientists of the Institute of Zoology was held at the Institute of Botany.

The president of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Culture has been to the Institute of Manuscript of ANAS and got acquainted with institute activity, Azerbaijani written monuments. He noted satisfaction and stated their interest in creation cooperation between Vatican Apostolic Library and Institute of Manuscript of ANAS. There was given information about Azerbaijani manuscripts kept in Vatican and discussed the ways of getting their copies at the meeting.

The meeting was held with director of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, University of Karachi of Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Igbal Choudharynin at the ANAS Institute of Botany.

Expediency of future cooperation in this field is also paid attention at the meeting.
