1. The scientific-paleographic description and cataloguing of the manuscripts written in Turkic;

1. Two volumes of the catalogue of Turkic manuscripts which includes poetry and folklore monuments have been presented for the publication;

2. The transliteration of the monuments in Turkic languages and related to different fields of sciences have been prepared and published;

3. The results of the philological, textual, scientific, historical researches carried out on the manuscripts in Turkic languages have been published;

4. The scientific-critical texts of the Turkic classical monuments published in Azerbaijan are compiled just in this department;

5. The researches have resulted in the defense of candidate, doctoral these'es, which is the great success in the formed specialists in the field of textual critics and manuscript study.
