Introduction of medicinal plants of the Mardakan Arboretum, medical value some of them, analysis of an  chemical  composition and field of usage bioactive materials, obtained from them. 
Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:

Introduced the plants not meeting in Azerbaijan floras. The chemical composition of some medical plants is studied, which is introduced in Mardakan Arboretum.
