1. Production of water-soluble surface-active exolipids by hydrocarbon degrading microorganisms.
2. Production and chemical composition of lipids of different fungi grown on media contained hydrocarbon substrates.

1. Bacterial strains that is able to produce the biosurfactant which decreases the surface tension to 2.7 dyna/sm were obtained from oil contaminated soils. Factors affecting biosurfactant production are described.
2. Micromycetes of the gen. Mucor, Fusarium, Alternaria, Cephalosporium that gren in medium containing oil and consisting of 20-70% lipids. The composition of lipids was studied.
