For the first time the gene fund and collection of 6 rare and disappearing species of iris is created, methods of duplication and biodiversity are investigated. 2. For the firs time on the bases of the newest technique it is made precisely scale (M1:1000) soil map of the central Botanical garden. |

Brief information on the organization's history: | The Central Botanical Garden was founded in 1934. Square is 45 ha.The first director was Mikhail Vasilyevich Brujuzitski. From 1936 the Botany Garden was a member of Botany Institute on the rights of department. In accordance with the resolution of the President of ANAS from 04.02.2000 Botanical Garden entered to the part of department of Biology Sciences as the separated structure. The Scientific Council and Postgraduate stady functions in the Central Botanical Garden. |
