	Main area of activity of the structural unit:	Analysis of characteristics of petroleums, oil products, products of petrochemical syntheses and gas according to GOSTs with the point of creating environmentally appropriate and economically sound and comprehensive technology on processing of petroleum and it is derivatives. The laboratory also provides the technical specifications (T) for the new types of products.
	Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:	Has been set up a number of chromatographic methods of analyses for oil products and products of petrochemical syntheses and the method of determination of water and mechanical admixtures coexistence in petroleum. Synthesized the catalysis of oxidation and reduction for determination of ultimate analysis of organic compound of products and the fluorescent indicator of adsorption (FIA) for determination of group mixture of light oil products.
