During the studies of mechanisms of perception processes, information transmission and analysis in various structures of visual system the following was obtained. The vital role of hypothalamus (anterior, middle and posterior) in regulation of retina function, superior colliculi, lateral geniculate body and visual contex was showen. During the tests with experimental pathology of retina (distrophy, pigment degeniration) it was proved its relation to hypothalamuas- retina interrelationships. After the conducting of several courses of anterior and middle hypothalamus stimulation the reliable renewal of earlier reduced responses on light in all visual structures was observed.
