By acylation of halogen containing hydrocarbons of allyl and propargyl series with chloroanhydrides of carboxylic acids the preparative method of preparation of mono- and dihalogenpropenylketones has been developed. The configuration and conformation of the synthesized ketones has been established and depending on their structure and nature of nucleophilic reagents the reactivity has been studied. The efficient method of preparation of structural analogs of natural biologically active compounds of a series of pyrrole, isoxazole, nicotinic acid,  pyrazole, pyrrolopyridine has been developed and their purposeful conversion has been carried out. The method of selective isolation of glycyrrhizic acid from roots of licorice growing in Azerbaijan Republic has been developed and on its basis a number of new amino-salts have been prepared. The anticoagulant, hypertensive, adaptogenic, fungicide, antihypoxic and antimicrobial activities of compounds have been determined. The hard medical form of ethyl ether of 2,6-dimethyl-4-morpholinomethylnicotinic acid showing antihypoxic activity has been made and tested.
