	Main area of activity of the structural unit:	Synthesis and study of stereochemistry, kinetics, quantum-chemical and topological and correlation peculiarities of monomers and polymers on the basis of adducts of Diels-Alder reaction.
	Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:	The continuous technology of preparation of saturated, unsaturated, aromatic chlorocarbons and fullerene clusters in reactor of "boiling" bed has been created. Diels-Alder reaction of hexachlorcyclopentadiene and 5,5-dialkoxytetra-chlorcyclopentadiene with anhydrides, imides and bis-imides of cyclic dicarboxylic acids, their stereochemistry, kinetics and mechanism of formation with application of quantum-chemical and topological methods of calculation and use of the prepared adducts for synthesis of skeleton-ladder polyimides has been studied.
