Main area of activity of the structural unit:

Identification of  opportunities for boosting economical development of the Western region of the Azerbaijan through studies on obtaining construction materials, products and ecologically pure painting substances with the use of natural resources, industrial and vegetative waste materials available in the Western region.

Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:

Identification and classification of industrial wastes of the Western region of Azerbaijan, from which a number of construction materials and products have been obtained. Obtaining of a line of ecologically pure painting substances that can be used in consumer goods and food-processing industries and in manufacturing of medical and cosmetic products.
