At present time the following researches are being conducting  at the lab:

Obtaining of ceramic beryllium oxide (BeO) doped by iso and heterovalent impurities.

Studying of these materials' optic (spectral), luminescent and electro-physical properties;

Studying of γ- rays' influence to these properties;

Making of luminescent γ- dosimeters on their base;

The nature and kinetic laws of radiation defects' accumulation in g-aluminum oxide were studied and multiplicity of hole centers' structure differing for their electron configuration and their main roles in heterogeneous-catalytic processes were established.

The role of size effects was defined in the behavior mechanism of electron processes, initiated by g-radiation and electric discharge (ED) in fine-grained oxides (BeO, B₂O₃, ZrO₂) as well as in their breakdown characteristics.
