Main scientific achievements of the structural unit: | The features of migration of birds in Azerbaijan and Trans-Caspian migration way, numbers, annual dynamics and territorial distribution of waterbirds during wintering, migration and breeding in Azerbaijan, the main geographical populations of birds on the base of acoustic behavior and morphological parameters were identified. The main directions of implementation of International conventions about birds in Azerbaijan and modern conditions of rare and valuable species were identified. Identification of results and prediction for interaction of birds with oil, exposure of most sensitive groups of birds and regions by oil.
