Main area of activity of the structural unit: | The study of the helminthes fauna of domestic and wild mammals, the biological and ecological features, the patterns of distribution among various ecological zones of Azerbaijan, detection of natural reservoirs of the domestic animal helminthes. Development of the scientific fundamentals for the control of the pathogens of main helminthoses of domestic animals.

Main scientific achievements of the structural unit: | The helminthes fauna of domestic and wild animals was studied, some biological and ecological features in natural reservairs were revealed. The spreading of the pathogens of the main helminthoses of domestic animals in the climate and landscape zones of Azerbaijan was studied and measures were developed for their control which were offered to respective organizations.
